Leaking windshield

I had my winshield replaced with a NEW one. I have had it back TWICE for leaking. I mean it runs down inside of the left piller, down in behind the kick panel and soaks the carpet, drips out of the grab handle. The insulation on the firewall is soaked also. Also noticed tonight now it leaks on the right side too.
Is there a problem with sealing the windshields on these? Or am I dealing with a dumbass?
I'm just waiting to have an electrical problem behind the kick panel etc.

Gonzo - Its more likely that your drain tubes from the sunroof are clogged and its leaking down the roof pillar. This seems to be a real common problem, mine does it too. There are several threads on here about clearing the drain tubes, usually involving putting some type of a stiff line or cable of some type, or gently blowing some compressed air into the tubes.

Do a search on water leaks or wet carpet and I think you find the threads on this.

Hope this helps get you in the right direction.

Good luck!

I don't have a sunroof. It also didn't leak before the replacing of the windshield.
Thank you for the info tho

Who did the windshield replacement, Toyota or a 3rd party shop? What type of guarantee of quality did you get?

Was the windshield an aftermarket or OEM? Aftermarket glass can have problems leaking since the quality is not as good as factory.
If a dealership did the install they most likely subbed it out to another person so the problem could be the installation itself.
Good luck getting it fixed.

Not Toyota install or part. I figure it's just a poor install. If it's not fixed I'll end up going somewhere else to get it done right. I'm done screwing around with these guys.
Thanks for the help
