Leaky front boots on cv axles after 3 in lift

Hey everyone, any advice on doing this right the first time? Should i go ahead and do both axles, or just boots. They do not click or anything, and what happens if they brake while driving? thanks

Re-boot them

Inspect the boots for tears, if they are not torn you can replace the stock ring clamps with hose clamps to get a tighter seat.

This is common on lifts at 3+"s and is not necessarily a sign of bad CV's or failing CV's. The grease is just being forced out due to the new geometry.

But again inspect the boots well, if there is a tear replace the torn boot. I would personally do both since it is off the truck and all four if you have a tear on each side.
