When I was changing out spark plugs a few months ago on the V8. I discovered oil on the top of the plugs. I figured it was probably the valve cover seals that go around the plug tubes. So I ordered a valve gasket and seal kiit. I looked up how the seals for the tubes attach to the valve cover and found they seal right up at the top of the tubes.
I get around to starting the job today. I removed the coil packs and upon further inspection I realize the valve cover tube seals were dry and the leaks were occurring further down the plug tube where it appears to attach to the head. Is there a o ring of some sort where the tubes attach to the head? or is it press fit?
