I have been running 17 inch fj wheels on my 06 limited. I came across a set of the fj BBS wheels that were a port option in the southeast and snatched them up a couple months ago.
Thought i would finally get them mounted up this weekend with some new rubber so i rolled down to discount and dropped a cool 1k on some 285 cooper atps.
Got home and went to mount them up and they will not clear my damn brake calipers. I need to replace them anyway so i ground on one quite a bit and nada, no way they are going on there.
So now i am either going to be buying new wheels, down sizing the brakes, or sticking them on the wifes fj.
Man, i was so pumped to get those wheels on.
So make sure you do a test fit on 17 inch wheels on you limited. In theory they should have gone right on since i am already using 17 inch fj wheels...or so i thought.
