Alright I knew this was gonna happen. lol
This is in reguards to the gettin into the 4runner thread.

Cool I absolutly had no idea that 84s came with EFI and about the xfers. The 84 rare thing is just based on my experiance aroung the Jville area. I have seen 5 85 runners ,for sale or rollin, in the area and and lots of the 86 and newer. No 84's so that's why I said what I said. Now if I can just learn to post in the correct thread instead of making a new one I'll be ok.

84 trucks might have come with EFI (although I don't think so). I am quite convinced that 84 model year 4Runners did not come with EFI.

I have replied the same to the other post (the one where you apparently hit "new thread" instead of "post reply").

I would love to see a photo of an actual 84 4runner with factory EFI (but would need to see engine and vin plate). I don't think they exist.

I Owned an '84 sr5 2wd pickup that was injected. That truck is the reason I bought the 4Runner. Parked it out back of a friends farm, said I could leave it there forever. 2 months later he sent it off for scrap... some friend.
