4.3% APR isn't too shabby, since it should be less than an APR on a purchase anyways...but that's a big difference from what you were quoted.

As for the leather, you don't want to do it yourself? Probably only $300-$400 in materials. Save you from the probably $2k having the dealer do it.

Also, why did the term change? Well, 3 months difference and $3k in residual difference is nice for you.

Original 39 month quote was from a bank, Toyota does not have 39 month terms....... hence the 36.

The leather was quoted as $1400.00..... when push comes to shove, I'm confident I could get that down to $900 - $1200... I'm not up for the labor.

Went to a different dealership today and I'm considering this offer...

$431 plus 7% sales tax for a total payment of $463.00 per month

$1500 out the door (includes, DMV, doc, bank, gap, first month of $463.00)

When I first sat down the "out the door" cost was close to $2,000, which I thought was obsurd and really a deal killer.

After a little consideration at home, this deal doesn't look to bad, considering it's no money down. The only reason I didn't take on the spot is I was leary about giving up some options that came with the SE (pwr seats, REAS).... the problem with switching models is you have to start negotiating all over again.. grrr....

I have pretty much decided on the SE. I'm working two dealers for a lease that is close to the SR5 lease above. We'll see what happens, I'm close but no trigger pulled yet.

Closed the deal.

Went with the Sport V6 4WD, Shadow Mica, stock interior - MSRP $34,864.00 Sun roof, 6CD, Tow, a few other typicaly equipped options for the region.

The Limited proved to be too expensive on a lease and I really wanted the Sport suspension, the pwr seats, bigger brakes, ect., so the SR5 was out. As for the Leather, I've decided to give the stock interior a try for now.

Got a lease deal I'm pretty happy with - 36/15k, payment = $429 per month plus sales tax. $1500 out the door, including first month, DMV, Doc and all bank fees.
