Leather install update-

Well as some of you know I did a leather install back in October, well since then Ive been on road a lot driving from TX to VA, back, then houston to dallas about once every 2-3 weeks, so the leather has about 8k miles on it and its holding up very well. 95% of all the wrinkles came out, the only ones left are subtle but the pics pick them up pretty well. Its about to rain so I just grabbed a couple quick pics while its clean and before the bumper gets here this week but you can see the little wrinkles Im talking about when you look specifically at the drivers seat.-

Im trying to rotate the pics, buts its not transferring the same from photobucket to here, ohwell yall get the picture-

The drivers seat gets more wear because there was some cushion that has been worn off from 100k miles of driving but overall its pretty good wear and a lot easier to clean up dog hair-

Factory or aftermarket? What brand is the leather? Looks just like mine, which is aftermarket. Can't think of it off the name of my head either. Yours looks nice!

Brand was pella or something like that, I have the box in storage with the cloth so I could look it up if you really wanted to know.

How is it holding up to dog claws? Any marks or scratches from them?

Nah, that's fine. Mine is something like Liquid Cell. It's what was in when I bought.

Still looks good. Has the spot on the drivers seat where the drivers butt slides across the seat while getting in and out. Its by no means worn, no holes, just starting to get wrinkled there. I've only owned it for a few months so I have been trying to train myself to step in and out on the running boards to avoid sliding. That spot is always the first to go.

I don't know when it was installed. The second owner bought it at around 32k and the CertifiedPreOwned sticker says leather seats. So at least since 32k. Its got 75k now.

The wrinkles in that area are very common with leather seats. I've seen that happen on my Toyotas with leather and in friends' and relatives' cars of other makes with that problem as well. That's worst thing about having leather, is those wrinkles make it look very old.

the wrinkles on the corner wouldnt have been there if the cushion itself wasnt deteriorated from the use before but it really isnt bad at all. I use turtlewax brand leather conditioner-

Can you share, what is the right back spacing?

I wanna say 4.5 or something like that I dont remember off the top of my head I would have to find the paperwork on the wheels. its a negative offset, so basically if you order aftermarket wheels test fit something with an offset to see what the stance will be and if theres rubbing, then once your good to go you wont need spacers.

Im not sure what it would be worth but for the right price Im sure I would sell it, I would just have to run it by the wife since this is her truck not mine-

Thanks for the info Venom. I am wanting to lift my truck and add some wheels and tires "without" using spacers if I can get away with it.

I had a friend running -6 offset and he ended up having to use spacers anyway. I am assuming -4.5 is getting the tire further from the truck so maybe the 1.5 difference is the spacer difference.
