Leaving 98 4Runner for a month. Any advice?

Hey all,
I'm leaving town for a month and my 1998 4Runner Limited 2WD will sit in the carport while I'm gone. Is there any preventative maintenance I need to do before I go other than disconnecting the battery? Any help is greatly appreciated!

For a month you should be fine to just park it, that's not very long at all. Maybe top off the gas and as you said disconnect the battery, but even if you did neither I imagine you'd be fine.

I would also fill the tires. Stupid as it sounds nothing screams "I am unattended" like soft tires. Prying eyes and inquiring minds don't need to be messing your T4R.

Awesome, thanks guys. Yeah, I didn't think a month would be too long, plus my roommates will still be in town so they'll be able to keep an eye it.

I say DONT leave the battery disconnected.... Your engine computer will reset and you'll get super crappy mileage until it's relearned everything.

I just came back from a trip to europe that was three weeks long... started right up.
