LED Dash Swap

So as the title says I basically want to convert my dash lights to red LEDs. I had them in my firebird and prefer the red color. Did a quick search which took me to Marlin's site, but the thread is long gone. Anyone know what kind of bulbs I need and what size? Im trying to convert both my pickup and 4runner first gen 4runner and 2nd gen pickup, so same body style. Id like to order everything in one go if possible. Any help would be awesome!

A 168 bulb is stock. Check superbrightleds.com for plug-in replacements.

Kinda hate to bring this back up, but anyone know what LED bulbs are in the rear dome light and the front 2? I have a sunroof in 1989 4runner and there are 2 map lights instead up front, I think thats what they are called anyways. Any help would be appreciated. Already converted my gauges just looking to do the entire interior now.

You can get that same one from Low Range for about $5 .

And yeah, it's bright as hell.

I recently purchased two sets (lots) of Festoon bulbs on eBay for $6.10 shipped. 6x 31mm 12 SMD LED, and 4x 36mm 12 SMD LED, and both have resistors on the back. Cheaper made ones don't have resistors.

I have 2nd Gen 3.Slow

FWIW the Map light bulbs are 168 or T10. I bougt 20 Samsung T10 LEDs for $10.

The extra bulbs I had left over, I install in my buddy's Scion xB, and charged him $20 which he was happy to pay.

Thanks for the plug! Unfortunately I only do 4th and 5th gen T4R's, 2nd gen Tacoma's, current gen Tundra's, etc.

I put LED's in my dome light and cargo light in my Runner. Huge difference! My buddy tried to LED the map lights, but the lens of the stock light doesn't allow enough light through to make a difference. He also put green LED's behind his gauge cluster, he likes them but I dont. Anything other white takes away the color detail of the cluster.
