I've said this before in other headlight threads but I'll say it again. The OG headlight reflectors get a layer of dirt on them over 15-20 years. The headlights were not bad when new. Taking them apart is a pain to clean (bake) so the cheapest way to new headlights is the TYC housings off Amazon & GE sport bulbs. Cost me $92.
I spent the money on 4" PIAA fogs for bad weather. Projectors or any white light doesn't cut through fog or snow anyway. Projectors also suck for driving uphill with their cutoff.
