Behold; my hotspots!


I used some crafty methods to fix the hotspots;
This Is the ECT button- it has a sort of clear plastic column in it that directs the light to the lettering, but it doesn't channel the light to fill the entire button- so I wrapped the four sides in tin foil- while leaving the ends open:

For the HVAC controls the hotspots were caused by the direct light from the LED, so I blocked the top of the bulb with a small piece of tin foil, and surrounded the bulb with scotch tape to help dispurse the light evenly:



These are the bulbs from the gauges. I again used tin foil, I shaped it like a U over the top of the bulb to, again, block the direct light- but still allow light to escape the sides. I then wrapped it in scotch tape as such:
