Who makes Excellent Quality LED Interior Replacement bulb for all bulb locations In 2020 4Runner?

Is there any downside to Upgrading?

I've replaced my interior lights with Diode Dynamics LED's. I went with red so as not to impair vision at night, and with the higher output bulbs. The dome light didn't have a higher output option which is the one downside. I will likely install a Meso Customs dome light anyways, they are very good. I don't know what the light output is in the 2020's, but in my 2017 it was quite poor. I've only seen upside from my replacement.
 
LASFIT or Diode Dynamics. Yes there is a downside to upgrading: having your eye sockets burned to a crisp if you look directly at the new lights. Also lights that are too bright will severely affect your ability to drive at night with them on. Honestly there are certain lights where I wanted the upgrade and other lights where I did not. One example is the dome light. LED is too bright and turns it to daytime. The OEM bulb is perfect for adding just enough light for nighttime driving tasks/keeping an eye on the kiddo without blinding them or me driving.

I also went with Diode Dynamics.

I had the LED interior kit already from the factory, but could not stand the 'cool' white color of the bulbs, and replaced the dome, vanity, map, and door lights all with the 'warm 3000k' bulbs. Very happy with it!

I wouldn't recommend making the interior lights too bright since your eyes will need to take more time to adjust to the dark when you turn them off. The stock lights are better for that concern due to the fact that they're dimmer.

The only exception is the trunk lights. I have the Lasfit trunk lights. They're fantastic. The stock lights are arguably unusable in certain situations. The Lasfit ones are so bright, you can see anything in the trunk at night. It's excellent. And since they're in the trunk, you've got plenty of time for your eyes to adjust before you start driving again.

I see where you’re going and there is a defect to your comparison.

There is currently an air gap between the LENS of the OEM lights and the LED bulb. This shields the user from any heat produced by the LED chips. As does the bulb of the OEM LED.

The MESO unit has neither 1.) a bulb surrounding the chips, NOR 2.) a lens over the bulb. The chips of even low powered LED units get HOT… QUICK.

Also, are you aware your user name doesn’t allow people to quote your posts? When I click Quote, all that appears is the broken tag [QUOTE= with no user or post ID.

When I do quote the post, I am clicking Share, and grabbing the PID from the link and finishing the user;PID tag. Is anyone else running into this problem or is it just the Tapatalk app?

Just app, no problems on PC. LED's on MESO panels recessed therefore you only touching the panel and not diodes. Nothing is hot where you pressing if that was original concern.
 
I use LEDs everywhere except the vanity in the sun-visor. That’s the only one I ever look directly into.
