LED kits for 5th generation 4runner(Help needed)

If it ain't composed of 5050 diodes, then it is not worth putting in your truck! 5050 LED is a 3 chip diode, thus allowing an LED panel 3x brighter compared to the typical LED panel. All the LED's in this kit have 5050 LED diodes!

Alright, thanks to Jhawk, the 5th gen kit is now set! Price will be $70 shipped Conus, add $4.50 for the LP lights. Here is the kit in action:cowboy: There is a wait list but I will likely be ready to ship out 40 kits for the 5th gen 4runner this week(week of 11/14/11)

I will send a 48SMD LED panel for the cargo dome light to the first person who can send me photos of all the interior bulb locations with the bulbs exposed in a 5th gen 4runner!(this inlcudes dome lights, doors, and license plates) if all goes well in the group buy! (if we get 10 or more people with 5th gen 4runners buying it from me on these forums), then the person who sent the photos will get the dome light LED panel! Photos must be from your own personal 5th gen 4runner!

I managed to schedule an appt to view a 5th generation 4runner that my friend's dad owns! Just as a preview of the kit I am putting together, I want to show off the dome light that the person who sent me pictures could have gotten! These pictures only show the two dome lights lit up because the map and door lights are on their way! I have a 6SMD 5050 LED panel planned for map lights in the 5th gen! The kit for it may be a tad more expensive compared to the 4th gen kit that I have(which is reasonably priced at $45)

Check out the pictures of the dome lights in the 4th gen! Below these pictures is the 100 series that I own!

And now the 100 series! These domes are bright! Also with only two dome lights lit up!

Are the 5th gen kits going to be a complete kit (all interior lights, rear hatch lights, puddle light on the 4 doors, and the puddle lamps under the side mirrors)? From what I have been reading on here, some of the 5th gens don't have xx while some others do.

Definitely interested for the final kit contents!

Yes, it will come with all interior lights!

I will look into these different 5th gen models! Ideally the bulbs in the puddle light and rear hatch light should be the same! Toyota likes using the same bulb setup in all their SUV's which is good! I looked around online and could not find what different 5th generation 4runners have! What exactly should I be looking for? The kits I put together are definitely going to be complete and will not even think of selling any without having the best possible components!

SR5 has 2 puddle, 2 map, 1 second row ceiling, and 2 rear hatch led's. You can buy all 7 bulbs at superbrightled.com for around $40 and could probably install all 7 bulbs in less than 10 minutes. I think the limiteds have lights on the inside, bottom portion of the doors in addition. Good luck.

I dont think the dome light on superbrightleds.com is of the 48SMD variety!
They have a dome lamp panel which is 36 LED(thier price is already $20) or the 9 SMD LED panel(Their price on the 9 SMD panel is $21.95), the one in my kit will be the 48SMD LED panel! Here is their link!

Jhawk(t4r user) has helped me put together a kit for the 5th gen. I have had 3 group buys for 3rd and 4th gen on this forum since I paid the advertising fee last year. Now it is time to entertain the 5th gen crowd! Consider this a gauging interest thread for the 5th gen LED kit

Kit will include:

front map lights(2)
middle row dome light(1)
cargo hatch lights(2)
Four door lights(4)
Puddle lights(2)

Price for the kit will be $65 shipped...if you have a rear entertainment system it will be $70 shipped

slightly more expensive than the 4th gen and 3rd gen kit because it has more lights

license plate lights(+$4.50) and reverse lights(+$40) available as well to add onto any kit

Here's another one

My 4R is a limited, so it has the 4 door lights and puddle lights.
The puddle (2), map (2), door (4), make up mirror (2), and license plate (2) lights are all the same.
SR5's wont have as many and the trail wont have as many.

I remember pricing them separately before and pricing came out to be the same almost, or it could have been a little higher buying all them separately. Will there be any coverage if say one of these goes out in a month or so?

If bought separately(to show respect for competitors pricing, I will not post the links)

24LED panel in my kit with 5050 LEDS is brighter than the standard 48LED panel for the dome light

keep in mind all products that I sell have 5050LEDS, more powerful than standard 3528 LEDS, make sure to check before you compare the price to my product. Door, puddle and map lights are all wedge types but with 5x 5050 LED on each bulb

competitors pricing
4x door lights($12.50/pr)=$25

2x puddle lights($12.50/pr)=$12.50

2x hatch lights panels...assuming you get panels and not just a standard festoon with LEDs on it(assuming 6LED panel=$14 each)=$28 each

2x map lights($12.50/pr)=$12.50

1x dome light panel($19)

total: $97...take into consideration that the prices above are not even 5050 LED(larger surface area per diode)...and that price is without shipping. If you add license plate lights to an above setup from a big chain store, you will get $109.50 as a total! without shipping since they are from several different places

Thats $37 roughly of savings

Once again if they are not 5050LED on the panels and bulbs, do not compare my price with it

I added another picture, not sure if you saw that. I didn't send it yesterday as it doesn't look that great. Maybe the kit prices can be split up a bit? US: SR5/Trail/LTD and Canadian models are different.
