Whats the status of these 7w CREE's?

response below!

Any update on availability?

I have a huge order that I filled with my supplier. And I am going through a promotion at my day job! So if I do not respond to the inquiries immediately or send a payment request right away pls do not panic! I will get to you I promise! The components are set to come in mid-late march and I am hoping that I am settled into my new role at my job by then! So guys once again, do not panic if I do not respond right away! I will still try to respond to pm's everyday but if I do not it is because of my day job's increased duties! I will log on as much as I can! You guys have been awesome and rather than saving messages and filling up my inbox I will tabulate the waitlist in an excel file! So when you pm me pls pm me all the parts that you want including your email so I can send you a request and add you to the official wait list excel file!

Is the pricing still the same as on page 1? And how long is the wait once you are on the list? Thanks!

I'm still hoping I'm somewhere on your list. I would like a complete package for the 2010 TE.

I'm happy to pay when you are able to ship.

very interested in a set...do the bulbs have any cheap blue tint in them? I've kinda held myself back from getting a set because I don't want the looks of those cheap rice-burner white/blue lights...please PM me with cost and timeframe

Good luck on the promotion, I do have one question. It looks like the LED's are stickied into the housing, is that the case? If so I live in Las Vegas where it's over 100 degrees in the summer and even hotter in the car, would that affect the adhesive qualities of the LED's? Would the melt loose if you know what I mean

Good luck on the new job. I sent you a PM w/ personal email to get on your excel list. Do you send to APO addresses via USPS?

I played around with using a non-metallic paperclip/or a coated paperclip, helps add some extra strength to keeping the lights on. One side has the paperclip, the other side of my hatch doesn't. So far so good on both though :o

Another option is to use a little bit of 3M automotive tape (the grey adhesive with red peel-off). With some of that on there, it ain't goin' nowhere. :)

FYI: I didn't buy a kit through the OP. I bought the same parts through another vendor. My experience: The LED boards are absolutely awesome for the rear hatch. However, I felt they were too bright for the dome light and "downgraded" to a normal LED festoon bulb. The LED board in the dome light basically blinded me and rear seat passengers.

I agree with you Jaker - the center console light is a bit too bright. I'm actually downgrading that one to a smaller panel. Also, for those having issues with the rear hatch lights staying in place wiht the 3m tape on the festoon mount, you can do what I did and just tape the LED panel to the plastic housing to keep it in place.

The one I went with originally for the dome light was actually just a 6 LED board. I replaced it with the bulb in the below picture and found it a perfect match for the map lights.

Although I respect your opinions, I think the bright, blinding light is great. It is really fun to blind my passengers!! Also, I can't tell you how many times someone has dropped something in the car that cant be found until the next day in the daylight. I love the lights and was on the original list. I got them quickly, they installed perfectly and work great. I recommend them to everyone.

If it was just me, I would understand and agree. However, a 2 and a half year old back there makes me look for something a little less bright. Maybe when she's older I'll put it back up there. For now, I'll likely go with a smaller pad.

Am I reading the first page correctly that there are 47 people on the wait list to recieve lights?

I don't think that list is up-to-date... I'm not on the list on the 1st page and I've been on his "wait list" for like 2 months now...I don't think he's still filling orders, or he hasn't kept communication

Guys he is still taking orders, he does this on the side and has a full time job, be patient, I just received mine yesterday and they are worth the wait.
Send him a PM and he will get back to you as soon as he can. Better yet, when you do e-mail him send you pay pal address and he'll inform you just before he charges you for the LED's.

I didn't mean to come across as impatient and I understand the dude is doing it part time. Just to clarify, on the 1/21 I sent him my paypal email to be put on the list, he said the bulbs were 4 or 5 days out...and he was working a QC issue, over 2 months later I haven't heard a word from him / his PM box is full, etc.
