LED light bar switches

The Aironboard switches work well even though it seems they are only rated at 3amps?

I tried the Aironboard switch with my BAJA DESIGN lights and thought it was good until i tested the original switch that BAJA provided with the lights. With the BAJA switch, my light was noticeably brighter. However, the aironboard does not effect my Rigid Industry light maybe due to the wattage rating.

This sucks since the aironboard fits the empty slots and i do not want to drill into the kick panel for the rocker switch that BAJA provided.

The switch triggers a relay... A relay is either open, or closed, there is no in between (unless it's fluttering between the two, but that's a different discussion). Thus the switch cannot have an effect on light output of the lights (or amount of current allowed to travel to the light, or voltage provided to the light). The amount of current the relay requires to trigger is minimal at best (if memory serves me something like 100-200mA), which is vastly less than any switch provides. Again, if the switch was unable to provide adequate current to the relay, it would not close the contacts.

Unless of course, you are referring to the intensity of the illumination of the switch.

Something isn't wired right with that.

All the switch does is activate the relay, no way it should have an effect on the brightness of the load.
