LED Lighting Kits

Well not an expert in wiring, but not afraid to jump in it and finish. If you read on my truck, I've done more than a hand full of wiring installations. I also have a Blue Sea 12 circuit fuse block under my drivers seat and a 6 circuit fuse block in the rear of my truck running on dual batteries. You go through PayPal? Want the hood kit for a 3rd gen 4runner fo shua! Mahaloz and Aloha from WA

Agreed. If you are going to mount a switch for this kit it will require removal of some trim pieces and some drilling. You will also have to run wires all the way from the battery to the rear. If you go my way you'll need to splice and connect from the rear dome light. Either way I'd make sure your comfortable with what's needed before getting this kit.

I would never put a switch to the rear. Waste of time when u can use what's already there like u did. I would not mount the LEDs with the zip ties.

Also for all future kits, please test your kit before installing in the hood. This will help in case of a repair is needed and shipped back to me.

I got my kit in a few weeks ago and cannot wait to get it installed. I am adding a BlueSea fuseblock under the hood (will be my second. Have one in back that powers my additional power outlets, USB outlets and will power my Puma Compressor), attached to my second battery (Odyssey PC1500) which will power my lights (Baja Designs driving and LED lightbar and these underhood lights) so I have a minimum of wires running into cab. Tested them and all lights look good in the kitchen. Looks like it will be this weekend as I was planning on doing the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle ride this weekend but my bike needs a part that is backordered... sigh.
