LED lighting

^^^^^^^

That's what I would suggest.

I'm probably going to pick one up soon.

In my experiences the tri LED would fit in the shifter and key ring, but it didn't look very good. It's kind of hard to get the tri LED in there. I used a super bright LED with these and it looks good in my opinion.

For the glovebox light I used a tri LED and it works perfectly. This is my favorite conversion.

I still can't figure out the cig lighter. Any help would still be appricated.

I've taken out the silver pins, but the new LED seems too tall.

So will the 25 LED fit right into place or is there any custom fitting required. I have not measured it yet. Also, will the lens fit over the new light?

I took some pictures the other night, but alot of them didn't turn out very well. I'm going to try and get some more soon.

Anybody have any ideas about the cig lighter?

Alright. So at first I broke the bulb to get it out. Then I go to put in a new "Super Bright", but it doesn't fit. I then learn that I can take the silver pins out so I do that. After taking them out I put the LED in and then try to put the pins back in, but they don't fit. It seems as if the bulb is too tall.

I've also tried to fit other "original" bulbs into the lighter, but those don't work either.

The LED replacement wouldn't fit for me either, I used tweezers/pliers to widen the socket so I could fit the bulb in there. Then it worked perfectly.

Interesting. I'm going to give it a shot. I'm not sure how it's going to work out considering it's plastic, but it did work for you. You just widened it where the silver pins are so that it kind of has an oval shape?

It looks like they still make the 25 LED.

So, friday I ordered this 25 LED superflux for my dome light. I had an email waiting for me when I got to work this morning.

"James,
Thank you for your order, unfortunately we have temporarily discontinued the Superflux Dome Lights. Please contact our Customer Support department for further assistance.
Apologies for any inconvenience.

That is a bunch of crap. If they are not making it any more then they should not have it available to order. Anyway, just thought I would update you all on the status of this.

THAT IS GAY

So with that being said, what is the next choice? What will fit and look BRIGHT like the other one??

I am ready to order.

I just got off the phone with Oznium. The sales rep said the Ultra Thin would be a good replacement for it 25 Superflux. However, I wanted the Cool White, but it is out of stock and will not be available for 6 weeks. They had some of the colored ones in stock, but not the white ones. I wanted the Cool White since it would look clean and bright and kind of match my blue LED interior lights with its Blue tint.

If anyone else has any suggestions as to a good alternative, I am all ears!

so i put all blue lights in the 4runner i did not do led behind the rpm and speed, ot is not as bright as i was hoping for are the led 194 that much brighter? and can the gear selector light on same panel be changed out? i could not do it

LED's are brighter than normal bulbs. The area where I noticed that biggest change was the gauge cluster.

If you are talking about the lights in the cluster that tell you what gear you are in then yes. I think that you have to buy a new bulb for each slot though. I could be totally wrong. I would probably take the cluster out and look for bulbs that line up with the selector lights.

what style led did you go with at auto illumination there are 6-8 different leds. when i was back in there i did not see a light for every gear there was i little box but i did not want to break it getting it open
