LED lighting

hah thanks guys, i had a hard time with the cig light bulb and i am short one neo wedge for the rear defog and ect light

but it turned out great!
 
Yeah I agree with you. How long would you say it took you to do all of that? And how much did it cost you?
 
couple hours, cuz i went out to meet my girlfriend inbetween haha,

but for the most part the only hard part was making sure that the leds were put in the right way with the twist sockets and the neo wedges too, other than that, very direct and simple

lol this is so frustrating because im SO OCD:

i still need one neo wedge for the ect/reardefog light, one for the cig lighter,

AND i just noticed that the auto switches need new bulbs, any idea what type of bulbs they need?
 
Is there any way to make the gauge pointer that rotates a darker red color? I know when its not illuminated its somewhat orange and is powered by the LED that lights the gauges, but is there a bypass somehow?
 
looks really nice, i'm gonna do the white gauges myself pretty soon.

does anybody know if a 2001 uses 74 for 24 for the gauges? i have heard people using both bulbs so i'm just concerned about ordering the wrong ones

If i am not mistaking, they use 24s also.
What I would do is take your dash apart (VERY VERY EZ) and look take a bulb out to see.
They are the bulbs with the GREEN on them.

that is it.
 
auto switches

HA! I asked about the switches long time ago.
Apparently they are soldered into the switch i think. I Would LOVE to change them. My passenger side is out.

If i am wrong, please someone correct me.

Would anyone be abl to share info on how to access the bulb for the ashtray please?

I just got the 3 led for price reasons.

I bet it will be ok since I dont drive with them on anyways.

I ordered the ultra thin dome light from Ozium. I wanted the 2" ultra flexiable, but they were sold out in cool white. I then went to 2" ultra thin and they were sold out too, so I bought the 1.5" by 1.5". I figure it will be bright enough and I don't have to wait 3+ weeks.
 
anyone have some advice on how to get to the climate control? i have the digital one.

i know how to get to the gauge lights, now its the others that are giving me problems...

Do you know to change out the radio?
If you do, it is to same process. SIMPLE.

you should be able to google it..
