led strips mods

well i have changed my led strips due to quality issue, also one was fatter than the other, although i did like the dual color concept, white for parking and amber for signal.
so now i changed it out to just pure white led strips. heres how they look now.
heres how the strips comes in, just a long 60 cm / 23 inches or so length, these are the only one i have seen with the most leds in this form, other ones i seen on ebay have less leds and more spaced out.

heres how it looks on my truck, i know some of u guys might not like it, but it does go well with my retrofit.

you know, I have to admit, I don't really care for the "led strip light" trend. However, this looks pretty nice. The way RICEANDPHO contoured the strip to the bottom part of the headlight is rather tasteful. I like it!

The amber led strips would be cool, a tad ricey, but interesting to see..

That looks really good. I'm usually not a fan of similar mods because they don't blend well with the vehicle, but you did a great job on making it look like a factory option. Very impressed. Keep up the good work.

OK ya that actually looks really good! However I think LEDs are so played out though...they come on KIAs now! In anycase, definately nice work.

Remove the headlight fisrt, the strips are long so cut after final mock up. Use tape to hold the strip in the way u want .then the final positioning u have to make sure the cut is where the strips will let u cut off, after the clean the area and wipe dry. Then start at the corner where the high beam are and take the sticky off lil by lil. Eye ball about 1/4 inch from the front of the lens and slowly stick it in place. Take the time to make sure its even. After that test it, for it to be ob with parking lights tap in the green wire. If for signal use use the other wire, u can tell the harness shares the ground. Its not that hard to do.

i used to have one with both white and amber, the white be on if i have my parking lights on, and also it would flash amber with signals. i did post a vid of it b4.

Thanks. I had thought you installed the LEDs within the headlight housing. This will be easier to do.

so im going to order some more led strip, red and blue, this will be the demon eye mod i will do to my projectors, im thinkin i want to do red to give an aggressive look, but the blue will match my flashing lights though. u can also do the demon eye effect to the stock projectors too.
