LED Tail light Mod

Well I ordered A pair of LED tail lights from AutoPartsAvenue and installed them this afternoon and WOW what a difference! The install was easy and man they look good! Great product from those guys!

Now I've got to get the LED bulbs for the turn signals and reverse lights to complete the rear. Anyone know where I can get the turn signal relay for LED's? I thought about the resistors but looked like a pain in the a$$.

you can attach them from a file too, just scroll down to the bottom when posting and click on manage attachments

So glad we can all do pictures directly now. I would not have known if I had not stumbled across this thread. many thanks to jsmarine for mentioning it.

Great looking LEDs-pondering this upgrade for my 3rd gen now. Just waiting for a great price....
 
Looks great, any plans for the rear unused lights? If so go LED. Me personally once I do my tail lights I'm wiring the jdm "fog" lights.

Ya know, I was thinking of doing exactly that. Not sure what kind of LED set up to do though. Have you done it?
 
so quick question... did you get drop in led replacements that go in the old bulb socket or is it a totally different tail lamp assembily?

I purchased the complete tail light assembly from Auto parts avenue on ebay,
TOYOTA 4RUNNER 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 LED TAIL LIGHT PAIR - eBay (item 130478043818 end time Feb-20-11 17:36:50 PST)
Not quite as bright as stock 06 and up.

Back up bulbs are from V-Led's,
V-LEDS HID WHITE 19 M-SMT 8W HIGH POWER BULBS 917 918 920 921 922 923
Fricken lights up everything behing me!

License Plate bulbs also from V-Led's
2 HID 6K WHITE HIGH POWER LICENSE PLATE MAP PARKING LED BULBS 194 168 158
See my plate from 30,000 Ft!

*And I just received turn signal bulbs also from V-Led's,
V-LEDS PLATINUM AMBER 7W HIGH POWER 20 LED PARKING/TURN SIGNAL BULBS 7443-CK
*These are as bright if not brighter than the OEM bulbs but a bit pricey! VERY nice color and sparkle!

For the front marker bulbs,
