LED tailgate lights

I need more lighting when i reverse, so i was thinking of installing a fog light of some sort under my hitch or soemthing. I do more trailering than off roading, but has anyone tried this...

seems like a good alternative and it isnt too expensive. If anyone has anything to say about these please let me know. Im not installing this for the "bling bling" factor, so i need to make sure they actually make backing up easier....

I like the trailer hitch one better since the other one migth look like crap after a few years in the elements.
