Just Finished rebulbing the whole vehichle. LED's for interior and PIAA for headlight and 80 watt for fog. I love it, see below:

Side marker is 6LED pure white bulb. It is not blue even though it appears that way...

Map Lights are 6LED pure white...

Dome is Wide 6LED Feston Bulbs...

Cargo Dome is Blue 4LED...

Doors 6LED Blue...

Why LED? 3 reasons:

1) Draw very little current
2) Last forewer
3) Lot brighter than stock

I took these picks in compleately dark garage therefore it's hard to judge the brightness of these things on the photo. But believe me these LED's are like a daylight.

I haven't done my dome light yet, ran out of LED's.

What type of LEDs did you use, if you made your own?

<<<<, how did you get the map bulbs out of there? The dome and doors are easy but I haven't been brave enough to try the map lights.

nice. I tend to notice LEDs as a direct light more then a spread-light, as in the LEDs tend to light up a specific area whereas the regular bulbs give a nice wide coverage..... do you notice that?

Check your led bulbs in the headlight itself every once in a while. I was pulled over recently because both my bulbs were flickering like a strobe light. I'm not sure what happened but i've had them on for 6-7 months till this happened.

If your wondering what bulbs i was using, they are the ones from www.superbrightleds.com

I like the bulbs but the summer Texas heat may have damaged the bulb within the housing, not to sure though but just check them after a while.

Dome lights are wide angle therefore it lights the whole interior. You do not have to make them these are sold ready to use, here's a pic:

Map Lights are easy take small screw driver and pop them out. Use 194 type bulbs for replacement.

Can you tell me where you got your leds if you don't mind? These looks great.

I got dome set here: superlumination Get just 2 because it'll not fit in Cargo area Dome, that's why I use 4 LED blue set there from: superbrightleds

Thanks...BTW, those bulbs you have loaded (6 LEDs) don't fit in the domes. They're too big and end up angled forward or backwards once installed. Have I done something way wrong here?

all you need to do is pop the heat shield(U shape metal) out from the middle of the dome light housing that way the led will aim straight down since the led dosen't produce a lot of heat so there's no need to use the heat shield.

Sweet. Thanks for the tip. I ended up just changing the dome light in the cabin, cause although the LED is brighter it does tend to act like a spotlight. I'm leaving the cargo dome alone and just keeping it off altogether.

ok, i got some LEDs and love them, i put 4 blue ones in each foot well where you sit and your feet are, and wired them up under the center console to a switch there, ill post a few pics tonight if anyone is intrested

still wondering if those part #ers are the same for 3rd gens too

Yes, please post pics and a short write-up. I'm looking to put some white LEDs in the footwells, too, and would like to borrow from your experience.
