LED's in the 2014 projector?

So I just replaced my fog bulbs with H11 LED's and they are awesome. Super bright and 6000k. Now I am thinking of replacing the stock halogens from the projector with the same bulb. My concern is the type of beam this will produce. What do you guys think?

HID's + Halogen Reflector = Blinding oncoming traffic, beam scatter, wrong pattern for fogs...the list goes on!

Saker, generally I agree with you.

But the OP was asking for LED in 2014 projector..... while the suggestion is why not HID is 2014 projector.... they weren't talking about "HID + Halogen Reflector".....

I realize that some of the HID setups are in the $40 range, but most are over $100. That is why I am leaning toward the LED's, as well as the simplicity of just replacing the bulb. Can you see any problem with doing this? I think it would be brighter than stock, and the color will match the fogs.

Prepare to spend about $150 on a kit from XenonDepot or TheRetrofitSource, and you will be forever happy...... get the 4300K or 5000K or 5500K color... you will have no issue and it looks great!

Honestly, people selling 100 dollar + HID kits are preying on the people that think that 40 dollar kits are "too cheap". I have no doubt that the expensive kits are well built, but it's still not worth the extra cost in my opinion.

I definitely think there's a future in LED headlighting, but currently, i'd go with the known quantity of an inexpensive HID setup.

The selfish part of me wants to see you buy those LED's that you linked to and try 'em out!

I have run multiple kits from VVME.com and they have all worked great. They are cheap but work great and last.

You should have put the 3000K 30W CREE High Power H11 LED on your fogs.

and for the low beam put H11 HID Xtreme Kit 5000k.

Looks good speedy, I'm not a big fan of the yellow usually, but yours looks pretty sharp.

Thunder-your selfish part will be happy to know that I did order the bulbs linked. I'll spend the cash to try them out. If I hate them I'm out $38, but they will no doubt be significantly better compared to stock.

I'll post up pics when they arrive.
