About to order a GOBI Stealth and I'm trying to figure out which lights to go with so they can build accordingly. Would a curved 30" or 40" bar have less wind noise thn (4) 6" Rigids? My gut feeling says it probably would due to less separate edges, but would appreciate opinions from those who have had experience with one or the other, or both. Thanks!

I too am going to order a stealth and will probably go with curved 40" but haven't been able to get a hold of Trail Duty and you all know what it's like getting someone to call you back from GOBI directly. Texas777, let me know what they work out for you. Can we still get the free accessory if ordered tomorrow?! Thanks!
Heard back fom TD and was told to use GOBI100 to get $100 off. Think you have to order before 1/5 to get the free accessory deal, so essentially before midnight. I've been contemplating which light setup to go with, and think I may end up with (4) 6" up front. Like the ability to have lights with both flood/spot capabilities vs. one type in the 30" or 40" bar. Do like how the bars look cleaner though. Tough call.
I had planned to go with Rigid, but after seeing Desert Dawg's Nightstalker light bar and the $479 price on it from Desert Rat online, i may just go that route. Looks like he fabbed a pair of L-bracket mounts from 1/4" steel bolted to the rack mounting bracket GOBI supplied. From the sound of it, the light housing isn't quite as nice as Rigid, but they both use Cree LED's so for 1/3 of the Rigid MSRP price it might be worth taking a look.

I just put black door edging on the bottom half of the fins on the back of the bar and it is silent now.
Ordered mine w hi-lift mount and sunroof just before midnight! Again my thought exactly TeX, not liking the price tag on rigid's and also thought Desert Dawg's Nightstalker's looked fantastic and is bright enough for my needs with a sexy price point. Had an epiphany too after I ordered that being that I have either a 14ft canoe or 14.5ft kayak up there a lot during summer it may not be condusive to having a light bar and dealing w clearance issues and weight on the bar esp w canoe. Someone had a stealth flip down light bar that was a great idea but I'm too lazy to look it up, sure you've seen it here if you've been considering Gobi. Will most likely quench my desire for a light bar by burying smaller one in lower grill and roll with 4 individuals up top. One thing is for sure, will be getting or making an awning for the rack in the spring! Now to search out some better secret camp spots in CT, NY, VT, PA, NH, ME!
Congrats! Ordered mine last night as well. You epiphany last night is a valid one that I hadn't thought of with the potential clearance issues. A kayak is on the short list for us so looks like I'll be going back to my original plan with the 4 individuals too. An awning would be a cool addition!
I need to find the thread where someone was talking about the upgraded gas shocks for rear cargo door to compensate for added gobi ladder weight. They were a fraction of the cost of the ones Gobi is selling.

I am ready for this upgrade as well!!! Hatch door is not too happy anymore with the ladder added.
Ordered upgraded lift supports! LiftSupportsDepot.com even upgraded my shipping to 2 day priority which is pretty sweet. Now if only my Gobi rack would come sooner. Speaking of I called Trail Duty twice before I ordered and twice after and left voicemails and nothing back. Surprised because I hear they have great customer service. Now to somehow stop myself from buying lights before the gobi even arrives...

I haven't ever tried to call, but did send a few emails with a request to change my free accessory and a question about light tabs, and they were pretty prompt in responding (within 24 hours or less). Service has been great so far!

Hey Adnasty I ordered my Gobi back on 11/30/14 and I'm at the 5 week mark, hadn't heard anything and then went back and read the trail duty website, where it had the number for Gobi directly. I called them yesterday and they were very nice and were able to tell me that mine should be ready to ship by the end of next week. She said they had a slight delay with the xmas holiday, but are back on track. Hope this helps
