Lets go devils !!!

I'm actually leaning slightly towards the Rangers, but I wouldn't complain if the Devil's beat them.

im a kings fan, so originally i felt i wanted the rangers to win, since i feel the kings can easily dominate them... but after watching the last 2 games i hope the devils take it., the rangers have really started to become like the red wings. dirty dirty dirty. cheap shots and playing like animals. go devils for eastern. but GO KINGS FOR THE CUP!:trophy:

It's better for hockey if it's an LA/NY series;bigger rating and a shot in the arm to the NHL. I hope the Kings take it all.

Better watch out, I am a huge Rangers fan! Don't worry, we will take one at the pebble tomorrow night. I am having flashbacks to hmmmmmm, let me think...................

Let's Go RANGERS!!

No doubt that this is a big opportunity versus the #1 seeded, heavily favored Rangers. I'm amazed the Devils even were able to win one game in this series against a Rangers team that were the best all year.

Being a huge, huge underdog playing at home with a chance to beat a great, great, great team like the New York Rangers is something to be grateful for.
And to have yet ANOTHER opportunity if they don't win tonight is even better.

You really think the Redwings play dirty? I'm from Detroit so I'm a Redwings fan but would love to see the Devils beat the Rangers. I think Devils/Kings would be a great match but the Kings are kicking ass!

The Kings would have a harder time with the Ranger's style of D and I think the Kings are hoping to face the Devils.

The Kings don't stand a chance against either team no matter what the circumstances.

Eastern conference hockey will make them nuts when they have no room to breathe and they will most certainly lose their composure before the end of game 3. Richards and especially Carter couldn't handle it so they were sent west.

Rangers or Devils will take them in 5 or 6 games. There is absolutely no doubt.

I would expect nothing less. You already root for one loser so you might as well make it two.

Was at MSG today watching them melt down the ice. Circus is coming to town. Crybaby Tortorella will be selling peanuts.

Keep regurgitating that same old tired BS that you guys from the East seem to hang on to. None of the teams from the West get any respect (sans Chi, Det or Van) as if hockey doesn't exist outside the precious NE...
Aside from the East being much softer than the West, the teams in the West know how to play some D. And, even though NJ is one of the more defensive minded teams from the east, they still won't be able to match LA's forecheck and neutral ice trap. And that's before they have to try and solve Quick. Brodeur is old and doesn't have the fight that his younger competition does.
Even though I had picked NY to beat NJ, it doesn't really matter, LA is going to steamroll the Devils just like they have everyone else. NJ will be lucky to take this final to 5 games, so they can loose at home in front of their fans

couldnt agree more. just like canada claims they are the only ones who know how to play "real" hockey... yet i see no teams from the north in the cup... hmmm.... :jump:

I don't see it so much from Ottawa, Winnepeg, Edmonton and Calgary. But, I completely agree that Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver are way pretentious.
Then again, same goes for NYR and Pitt...

Kings for The Cup!

Kings were slated 8th, which means they knocked off the 1st seed (Vancover), 2nd seed (St Louis), and then 3rd seed (Coyotes) all in 5 games or less. Good luck NJ, you're going to need it.

1 Down
3 to go
I will give credit where credit is due and say the Devils played harder than I thought they would, but I still don't think they stand a chance

that was definitely one hell of a hockey game. well played by both teams (and rather clean too). but of course kopitar comes in for the glory. it was ammmaaazzzinnnggg! :trophy:
