LOVE this paint color! When I found it on autotrader, it was listed as "black" I was so excited when I saw it in person and it was so sparkly!

HAHA the dealership had mine listed as black when I went to look at it, thankfully I knew it was SM and that was the color that I really wanted so I jumped on it. Love the upclose flake pic too

Me too! I looked at it online and thought "no way is that black". Drove 90 miles to see it even after the salesman said it was black. Sure enough, Shadow Mica.

My wife didn't exactly fall in love with it until the next day when she saw it in bright daylight. Funny thing is, my next door neighbor has a 2007 Sport in the same color and my wife always thought it was black!

Here is mine, 2007 SR5 Sport

Hey guys, I am looking to do a color change on my car and have sprayed a test panel of 1F4 D and love the color but it has a fairly green tinge too it. I know that is somewhat common, but I was really hoping to see a whole vehicle in person before I bought the paint.

Does anyone in the Denver/Littleton area have a shadow mica 4r that I could come look at? Would love to see the color up close and personal. Please pm me if you can assist. Finding these for sale locally has been tough...

This paint has A LOT of pearl in it, so you're going to see a wide range of colors depending on time of day, time of year, position of truck, position of anything that might be reflecting on the truck, etc., etc.

I think you'll be happy with it. I've yet to meet anyone who said they just didn't like it. I know a lot of people who absolutely love it.

Dirty/Clean ;)

Picked mine up last week. So glad I didn't settle for black and stuck it out looking for one. My wife thought she was set on black until she saw SM in person and now she's been converted as well.

Shadow mica is pretty cool color. At first when I searched for a 4R the one I bought was listed as exterior color of grey. There were no pictures at the time. Went and saw it person and was amazed by the color. Most of the time it looks like a dark grey or black.
