College has gotten crazy with tuition!

That said, I have a Doctorate degree in Dentistry and went further to become a specialist. I have 2 in college now, one wants to follow in my path. The other seems to think its an overpriced waste of time. I get it and see both sides. Do what you like, money is not everything and eventually most if not all figure it out. If you do go to school don't bury yourself in debt, not a good way to start off.

My highest level of formal education is High School.
Then a couple of trade schools (auto mechanic, then truck driving).
I have been employed continuously since I was eight years old, now 60 years old.
Education and knowledge are two separate things.

Two B.A.'s and a Master's, but as a teacher, it's almost automatic with the amount of professional development required. Ironically, I discourage my students from going into education as a profession, and instead really try to guide them towards a trade school. A former student of mine went to a local community college for their 2-year welding program, and then started her career at the Toyota Development Center doing prototype work. After 2 years there she makes more than double what I make and can use those skills for the rest of her life.

Sadly this is true. Wife is a teacher.

I only have an associates and I easily clear 2 1/2 times what she makes.

They say we have a teacher shortage but pay them crap.

I received an MBA a year ago, and it was extremely difficult. I even had to pay for papers on few occasions just to be on top of everything. "Highest" level doesn't mean much these days.
I know plenty of people that have doctorates that cannot figure out common sense, day-to-day tasks.

Plus "university" these days is not like it was where they used to get you ready for doing for yourself.

Soon these desk-job hunting millennials will be bent over by "the trades".
Labor rates will skyrocket as there is a decline in skilled labor.
