Toytec has a 1/2" top-out spacer and comes with longer studs. It's listed as providing 3/4" of lift, but it's 1/2" thick and yields 1" of lift. This would not be considered an EZ spacer because you have to R & R the top studs, but it is "top-out".

If you're going name-brand, go with something like the comfort ride as it has stud extensions (like you see in the picture). You won't have to take the spring apart for this:

Thanks very much, but I only want 1/2" of material for 1" of front lift. I went to the link you provided and explored their website, and I don't find any kits for the 4th Gen T4R that fit that requirement.

Yeah... even the "TOP1-T" kit comes with longer studs which means the top plate has to be removed in order to swap out those studs. I just ordered that kit yesterday to go with my FJ coils. Seeing that I'm replacing the coils, it's no big deal for me as I'll have the struts apart anyway.

I think that you may be stuck unless you can buy the DS kit, machine down the poly spacer, and get the stud extensions to work.

When referring to the amount of lift attained with a mod, whether it is 1", 1.5", 2", or whatever, ...In the case of front end lift, is that measured from the ground to the highest point of the front wheel well? If not, where is it measured?

how does it ride?

how does the ride feel with just the spacer up front? I've heard from some jeep buddies that doing just the front makes the ride real tough? Not idea how true this is, but i would like to do just the front for the moment as well so any input would be great!

This setup well at least the stance is exactly what I'm in the process of doing if everywhere wasn't sold out of rear Bilistien 5100's.

Does it still ride smooth like factory? Been looking at a level kit i dont want a full lift just a little to level the fromt up but dont wanta lose the good ride! Im new to the 4 runner world too thanks

Typically leveling itself will not negatively impact the ride but it’s important to use quality components. My first suspension setup when I bought my 4R in 2014 might be a good start for you - the “Tacoma swap.” Lots of Tacoma owners who lift their trucks swap in aftermarket gear and sell their nearly brand new OEM front coilovers for a few hundred bucks (check FB marketplace). They’re plug and play on 4th Gen 4Rs (at least through 2020, you would need to research later years).

The Tacoma TRD Offroad fronts get you just about level with OEM parts and rode great IMO, but of course ride quality is a subjective thing. See the suspension link in my sig for more info and feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
