There are so many videos on removing the struts and I had to do this nce to swap shocks and it was a bear. This video makes it so easy and virtually no disassembly of the suspension. Remove the 2 LBJ bolts, lower strut bolt, loosen the lower control arm cams and top 3 strut nuts. Super simple.

I always do it this way and even if you want to disassemble the struts to do the springs this is still the way to do it, no spring compressor needed.

What I recall from the last time was disconnecting the sway bar link, brake line, swinging the knuckle to the back. It was a fight. This looks so simple

Yes, much easier. If you don't have poly bushes in your UCA and LCA you may have to loosen the bolts on the LCA so it will drop down and stay down while you are removing/installing.

Why do poly bushings make this not necessary?
