Leveling Kit

I just recently had my 08 outfitted w/ a Revtek 3"/2.5" leveling kit and I am pretty satisfied. Ride quality feels like stock and it looks much better w/o that nasty forward lean.

Cheaper to buy online. Amazon has the DS kit for around $150. Install it yourself its easy. I have Xreas and it was still easy. The new DS is the top out only and it a breeze to install..

Are there directions online so I could see what was involved???

I assume after the kit is installed a front end alignment is in order?

I have the XREAS also and like the height of the back, but would like to bring the front up a little. Which kit would I use and how much do you think it should be raised?

Yes there are all kinds of directions friend. Daystar Write Up From Bulldog on 120 Click Here

This is the write up that I used thanks a million Richierollz!! Click Here

And here is the write up from DS themselves. Click Here

And yes you will need an alignment for sure. I had mine done it cost $80 try to find someone that knows Toyota's and knows how to work on them with a lift..

If you like the height of the back and just want a level look I would probably do the 1" in the front. Here is a picture or the 1" Toytec kit installed. Click Here

depending on the age of your shocks, you could always change out the shocks to Bilstein 5100's. The fronts are adjustable and allow you to level it out. I just did my swap a few weeks ago (with FJC coils) and its night and day from stock. This way you improve the ride and level it out at the same time. Just a thought...

I just had a Cornfed 1" leveling kit put on today, and a set of BFG AT KO 265/70/17. I liked the Cornfed a little better then the Toytec because they explicitly say its designed for use w/ XReas. I think these kits are similar but the Cornfed might have slightly better build quality and it is definitely more expensive.
