LewisP's Build thread

;) :D

So I just realized you have your GPS in the same spot as me. Got a pic of how you routed your wire?

Dude its out in the open, just routed down the side of the dash in plain view haha. I have it rapped around the suction cup mount about 50 times so it has no slack lol  Its gangster

Will post pic of how I routed my tonight for ya. Pretty simple with minor trimming. What model do you have. Mine has live traffic so it has that antenna on the cable so it was a pain but very doable.

Edit: btw I have a nuvi 1300LMT

Nice, that would be cool. My is the Nuvi 40, no live traffic.

i dont have any that show the inside but i just notched the dash enough for the wire to come out. kinda pinches but not very hard and doesn't crush the wire at all. the bottom i notched in between the bottom consul piece and the main consul face. just enough for the wire to fit through. did all of it with my knife (which i keep razor sharp).

Haha "keep it razor sharp" it looks good, and i think we have the same stereo setup! I'll take a pic later and put it up. So many similarities.

Very very close lol I have a Alpine CDA-105. Great stereo :) I have an iPod in it connected all the time and it works great. (Velcro'd it to the top of the cubby, INVISIBLE!!!) I HATE CORDS WITH A PASSION!!! The only one I am willing to have is the CB when I get one.

That's awesome, I have my iPod hooked up all the time as well. You can see it in the pic.

Purchased the CBI Offfroad hybrid bumper, led lightbar from bean industries, and piaa 510 fog lights. Install to come shortly.

New bumper and your rig nook great! How do you like the fitment of the bumper with the skinny flares? I've got the same ones, so I'm curious if the bumper sticks out too far. What do you think?

Thanks man! I'm not sure what you mean by the "skinny flares"? Are you talking about the silver fenders flares? If so, I like the fit and it offers good body protection since it's a little bit wider than the body. If you'd like more pics of how it fits just lemme know. I am very pleased with the look and quality of the bumper. It's not too big and bulky and it's not just a simple weak looking tube bumper. I'm very pleased.
