LFD Sliders - Highly Recommend

If anyone is looking for a high quality set of DOM sliders I highly recommend you give LFD Off-Road in Denver, NC a look. They have several different options as well. I just picked mine up on Friday, prepped and painted them Friday and Saturday then installed them today. Super happy with how they came out and look on the truck.

Just wondering why they are "Highly Recommend" Have you tested them out yet?
Are they "Highly Recommend" due to the look? just wondering as Ive tested out my RCI skids to many time to count lol and they are still doing their job.

Haha all good, the quality of materials used, price point, turn around time. These have been tested countless times (not by me.... yet but give me a week ha) and have held up great.

Me saying they are highly recommended at the moment is based on build and customer service.

I’m confident that other sliders also hold up great, never said they didn’t. I’m a big fan of local business with great customer service, that’s all.

Hey CollinJ, thanks for posting those pics. I'm considering the LFD flat sliders with fill plates but a little worried they are too narrow for steps (I have clown feet). I would occasionally like to use the sliders as step to access my roof rack and was wondering if you had a chance to use them as such. Much appreciated.

So I’m 6’3” so I don’t use them as a step to get in but I do use them to reach the rack. The bump out area is perfect for me for loading/unloading and even washing the roof.

They seem to sit low enough to easily fit a foot on it, I can get over half my foot on it and feel stable.

I added some 3M safety step at one of the owners recommendations. It’s great on the bump out, awful (for me) by the driver door. I scraped the crap out of my calf so those sections came off haha

How about the non-bump out sections of the slider? Is there enough width there? I'm considering the slider w/o bumpouts. Thanks again!

Alright, took a bit longer than expected tonight haha

So this is a size 12.5 shoe up on the bars. The widest part is the bump out section which I wasn’t going to get either but am super glad I did. It’s much wider and standing on that I can reach my entire 7/8 rack.

You can see the smaller section and how little my shoe is on it. Funny enough I’d have said half my foot was on it if I’d not have looked, I have no issue using even that part. when the door is open, it’s a nice little step to help someone shorter get in.

They’ve been great so far. They work for my 3 year old to crawl up into the truck well and I’ve had the full vehicle weight on the more than a few times and smashed them off rocks many times in the last year as well.

Outside of some touching up the paint on them so they don’t rust they’ve been solid.
