Lift and tire opinions!

Well, just picked up a limited 97 4Runner and am looking to throw a lift on it and bigger tires, something like 35's. Around that, what do you guys think for lift and tires, what setup would look nice af? Also, what exhaust would sound sweet on the 3.4, should I empty the cat? Thanks for your opinions!

For 35s you're gonna need a fortune... But exhaust wise, go with a Cherrybomb Vortex. Mine isn't droning but definitely a lot deeper and louder than stock. Just search any of your questions and it's probably already a thread. Welcome to the site!

I hope you don't plan on going up any hills with any momentum with 35s and stock gears... I have 33s and stock gears and I struggle to make 50mph on steep highways.. Just another thing to keep in consideration

Really? I have no issue in any Colorado pass at 50mph. Now 70 is a struggle.

I just got back from a trip through northern NM. Now that I think of it. At some points I was WOT. 60mph. I've been thinking some 4:88's and supercharger are my next mods.

Regear is cheaper and simpler.

Including a rear locker figure $1600+ for an assembled front clam and rear 3rd member from east coast gear. Without the locker around $1200+. Ain't exactly a cheap deal to regear two axles.
