I was just thinking that wheel spacers would finish your look. I'm debating between 255/70/18 or 265/65/18 myself. Do you feel that the passenger tires' sidewalls are plenty stiff for your needs? I've read people say that they feel sloppy but I don't want the added weight of an LT tire.

They don't feel "Sloppy" to me at all. But I also don't drive my truck like I drive my Camaro. No autocrossing in 4R. I really like the tires and would not hesitate to buy them again.

Regarding the Rubbing issue...thats sounds odd? My understanding is the adding a spacer pulls the tire out and away from control Arm that effectively adds more clearance and avoids the rubbing. You might need to trim the fender...but nothing more than that.

yeah i think it pulls it away and eliminates rubbing on the control arm but then changes the angle when the wheel turns causing more fender rubbing.

I also have the P-series Hankooks (in the 265 variety) and feel that the sidewall seems plenty stiff for the 4runner. In fact, I run less air than the previous Yokohama ATS I had, yet I have less sidewall sqirm and they don't look so underinflated. Coming up fast on 10k miles on the 'kooks and very happy with them.
