Lift kits for beginners...

Ok so I have larger than stock bfg at 265/70r17 (on stock 17 rims that came w truck w 17 inch option)

Added a shrockworks winch bumper and lights.

Added weight to front end is rubbing a lot, need to get a lift,
I like the ome option but I can't do a lift by myself. Need to have a shop do it.

Moving to mountain view, CA.

I need to lift my truck for the added weight of the shrockworks bumper and a warn winch, bfg's are rubbing. Want to add shrockworks rock sliders and eventually a rear bumper w tire carrier and a couple gas cans, a hi lift jack.


Found ome kit as follows:

The problem I have is, unlike most people on this forum, I live as a traveling nurse living in hotels and I can not install a lift kit on my own. Need to pay a shop to do the lift.

Where can I go in NJ to get the best lift installed,

or should i wait to move (looking at a job in mountain view, ca) to the Bay Area.

where can I get what I need to start?

And if that where in the 94040 zip code should I go?

Seeing what you want to add I would say go with a true coilover suspension so you can adjust the front height as you add more weight.

As for the install, if you do move to Mountain View, there are plenty of bay area folks, myself included, that would be more then willing to lend a hand and some space for a small fee of well beer.

Agree with coilovers as your answer. I run Icon stage 1 and highly recommend it. There are others too. Spacer lift isn't going to handle the extra weight.
