lift kits

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Revtek 3" suspension lift kit or the Daystar 2.5" suspension lift kit that they sell at Performance Products. Any opinions? I'm just looking to lift a little for a more aggressive look, I'm not much of an off-roader, other than camping trips, etc.

Also, one more accessory question. Are those little Helix Power Towers worth the $80? There is another company that makes the same thing, but a nice anodized red color, Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer.

If you're looking into spacers I would recommend these instead:

They come highly recommended by alot of the toyota community (TTORA) as well as other yota groups. Give them a line!

As for the tb spacer and what not, don't bother wasting your time there. If you want real hp, get a SC or atleast get an exhaust and headers to start. Then work up to the deckplate mod (search).

Thanks for the info. If I went with the 2" spacers up front, should I go for 2.5" in the rear to get rid of the sagging tendencies of 4runners or just stick with 2" in the rear as well?

2 up front and 2.5 up rear should suffice

easy. You just need a spring compressor and you're set

How much is the ride affected? My stock suspension setup is pretty bumpy now, but I don't mind. Eventually I would like to uprade my suspension. OME and Bilstein seem to be the most popular.

the spacers will make ya abit stiffer.

Keep in mind that spacers are the cheap route of getting the lift. Going w/ OME's or anything else will be much more expensive.

Also don't forget that you're driving a truck so the ride will be harsh. It's a truck If you're looking for a soft ride, lifting will not be a good idea.

OME HD Struts Front (Not sure part number)
OME HD Shocks Back (Not sure part number)

Total noticeable lift eyesight. About 1 or more inch up front and at least 2" at the back.

Is it necessary to get an alignment after installing spacers? I would assume it would be.

Whenever you do any suspension mod, it is good to get an alignment. It's just one of those good rule of thumb.
