Lift noob question

Looked over the suspension FAQ and didn't really see anything pertaining to this. Do springs and shocks lift independently? Originally I was going to just do a full Icon coilover system, but with 2" in the rear it feels like I'd have to get the front higher than I want. I'm really just looking to add a small bit of lift and I don't want to spend a ton because this is going to be a second "weekend fun" truck soon.

My thought was Bilstein 5100 all around set at 1.75" at the front and OME 895E (1.5") springs in the rear. I don't mind the rake and this would only level it out about .25" which works for me

I'm probably overthinking it but now I'm saying if I'm doing new shocks all around and springs in the rear I may as well replace the front springs while I'm there. Then I see the OME 883 which are leveling springs with ~1.5" lift. Is that going to mean I'd get a total of about 3.25" total lift in the front? Are there any good replacement springs for the fronts? Should I just stop messing with a good thing and only worry about the shocks and rear springs?

I would defenitely do the front springs at the same time. I did shocks and springs all around except front springs. 6 months later put new fronts in. Costs another couple hundred in labour. I have Bilstein 5100 adjustables with Toytec Superflex in the rear and Toytec 112-620's in the front now. I love it, especially after front springs got done, there is very little nose dive and handles great.

What are your 5100s set to and how much total lift do you have in the front? I just looked those up and they say 2.5" of lift which is more than I was looking for.

Its recommended to set 5100 to 0 for lift springs, pre load on lift springs can be a very harsh ride.

Ok so the more I look the more I'm thinking I may actually be satisfied with the minimal lift of the FJ springs. If I were to do FJ springs all around would it still be recommend to set the 5100s at 0 or would I be able to set them at .85 to get me around 1.75" of lift in the front and .5-1" in the rear?

Bilsteins are adjustable UP TO 2.5 but you can set them at 0 to .5 I believe?? To 1.75 then 2.5 at the highest setting

There are 4 settings for bilsteins. 0, .65, 1.75 , 2.5 . Something like that. Mine are set at 0 with new toytec springs and is barely higher than ride height.
