lift questions.

Hi, I know that there is probably a thread about lifts but for some reason I couldn't find it.

If I was to do bj spacers what other parts do I need? Is there any part that with out it, it wont work? Or do I just need the spacer and I should be good?Should I replace my ball joints before I do it? If so which front end part should I replace? Do I need to get bigger struts? How would I go about lifting the back? do I just need a bigger spring and strut?

Are there any negative effects on doing the bj spacer?

I did BS on my 1st gen and my son's 2nd gen. As far as the front end goes as long as you're doing the job it may be a good time to replace the ball joints if they are original or worn. The original shocks can be reused but it wise to add a spacer to the shaft to allow for additional length when fully extended. Its not an absolute but you may also want to drop your sway bar at the 2 points it mounts to the frame. The rear can be lifted with either replacement springs or spring spacers. I replaced the springs. When done get your front aligned.
