Lift Suggestions

Disclaimer I have read the following thread and found plenty of great information within it but still have some questions. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/102272-4th-gen-suspension-options-faq.html

I drive a 2007 SR5 V8 T4R and wanting to achieve a modest slightly more beefy stance nothing more than 2" and looking at possibly running a bigger tire.
Noticed users have mentioned the Cornfed 2/1 lift and level kit. Will this kit in fact get me the ~2" lift and level I am looking for, also has anyone had experience with these kits first hand (easy of installation, durability, quality, price, etc.)?
Also I could easily be mistaken but I can run a 265/70R17 tire size with this lift and not run into any issues with rubbing or clearance? I am wanting a slightly bigger tire to fill out the wheel well a little more along with aiding that beefier stance but not rub.

Looking for feedback, input, and possibly users that have had similar projects and post completion photos, etc.
Thanks in advance for any/all help.

I'm getting started on my '06 and I've been doing a bit of research. From what I've seen, the Cornfed will give you the 2/1 lift. I'm going with the Daystar 2.5/1.5, which I've read doesn't give that exact lift.

I'm looking at getting 265/70/17 tires and read that I shouldn't have any rubbing issues.

Sorry I've only got hearsay and not definitive answers, but maybe it'll corroborate what you've seen.
