Howdy All,
I just installed a set of these today and they're really nice. Noticeable difference in lifting power!
They're the heavier duty model that are rated to 244lbs and replaced the old PM1052 models I had installed a few years back, that are rated for 211lbs.
Anyhow, for those of you who aren't already running these, or aren't aware of this supplier or model of strut, they fit and work VERY well with our 5th Gens. Particularly those with rear ladders installed.

New lift supports arrived

So got these in and installed in 10 min. I dont advise using without laddder because the hatch will pop right up. When you remove one lift support and compare to new one it will be longer by 1/2 inch. Thats ok but you will need to remove both old supports at yhe same time becuase if you leave a stock one in it wont let the hatch open to that extra 1/2 inch have a helper to lift hatch and the new ones will snap right in. No need to remove bolts. Watch their video with that chic in the tight-ass jeans and youll be ok. Thanks for the info O'l baditude

Also installed this recently as oem gave out at 35k miles. Easy to install, took 5 mins tops. All you need is a small flat head. Highly recommended!

I bought mine months ago. I installed my Bajarack ladder last week and was just attempting to replace mine one at a time. It was too long so I thought I would look for an answer here. Now I can go back and do it the right way.

And 5 minutes later they are in.
