I recently installed some bilstein 5100 series on all four corners, upgraded my UCA and replaced my lower control arms with oem ones. For springs I used eibach 620# and set the front bils to "0" setting initially. As for the rear springs I used Icons 2.0 which I bought from a member here.
I was hoping the setup would level the truck but could see a significant difference in the front and rear fender gaps. After searching I decided to put the bils on the second perch from the bottom and reassembled. I noticed visually (as I didn't measure) it's still obvious the front is lower than the rear.
Ive run the current setup for about 3 weeks and even put about 200 or so pounds of gear in the rear to try to settle the springs. I'm just not real happy about the difference in ride height and am kinda confused on why it isn't more level than it is.
I'm a little OCD when it comes to things and although it would be near impossible for me to get it perfect (not that I'm trying to go perfectly level) I don't want to be able to just look at it and notice the difference in ride height.
So long winded I know, what option would allow me to get level with performance in mind? Should I change to say an OME spring as the 885 (thought it was a lower rated spring so it wouldn't help??) Add a top plate spacer (which I'd rather not do) or what? I know I'd take a hit on the money I've spent but is there a similar option in price that I could do and just pull these fronts off and sell them at a loss and look for a different setup such as all EMU?
It would be nice to hear from someone that say went from the eibach bils to all ome and what they got with lift or vise versa, I've read people running the 885 with a spacer at 0 on the bilstein and netted close to 3" but I'm just kinda lost at the moment with what to do
