Lifting a stock 2000 4runner

Looking to put on a 2.5 inch lift, just purchased stock Toyota 2012 17" rims with 265X70X17 tires which need more space / clearance. The front sets 1" lower than the rear right now, shocks and struts need replaced too. Looking at the Daystar 2.5" lift kit which lifts the front 2.5" and the rear 2". On RockAuto the purchase of Monrore quick struts with the springs, new MOOG rear springs and Monroe shocks. Can do this for a little over $400 - don't want to spend a lot of $.
Ideas? am I headed in the right direction? Thanks for the help! Brad

I can be done on the cheap, but you pay for what you get!

If I were you, rather than wasting money on the Monroe stuff is find something used. Look in the classifieds and grad some used stuff. People on here cycle through suspensions all the time.
