Lifting my 2002 SR5 Sport...

I threw up some picks of my runner earlier in the forum for peeps to see. The first thing I want to do to it is lift it. I am really new at this and want to do some research on it before I do it. Any suggestions where I should buy from, what names to look for etc. The ultimate goal is 33" tires under me. Thanks in advance and again here is another picture of "her".

Hey, good looking truck... here is a site that is highly regarded in the 4runner world. pretty much tells you what to buy for what you want, if you just wnat to clear 33's, then you can get away with something cheap (600) if you want the best set up for offroading your looking at around 1100. good luck

runnerup posted a nice site, but its very expensive, imo.

i would just say...

-remove running boards
-install ome coils front and rear
-install sliders
-install locker

you can get ome's from trdparts4u.com... tell them you are a yotatech member and they will give you a discount.

oh and that brush guard will have to go it will cause more damage than it protects from. i know from experience, it will push into your front bumper and bend into your fenders.

that will get you over almost anything. then as you find you need more clearance, or better tread on your tires (your bfg at's will be fine), you will know what to do next.

Yep,ditto on Lee's advice since his Runner looked almost like your's beofre he started on the mods to begin the his off road adventures.
