Lifting question (i've seen the thread...)

So im going to be lifting my truck with a toytec lift in a few weeks and I had some questions about lifting not covered in the "lifting thread" soo.
i was looking at the toytec 3" lift with diff drop, but the one with OME 881 coils up front and 883's in the rear (+100lbs of extra weight), will I be able to use these springs without the top plate spacers (heavier duty srings) and using my bilstein HD's and still be able to get an even 3" lift?
and I don't really plan on getting an ARB front bumper ever but I was thinking about getting the extra weight springs front and rear, just in case, how will this affect my handling? and I was also thinking about getting the 2" body lift at the same time. thoughts?

I just put on my Toytec Ultimate lift. I picked the HD 650lb front springs...cause I do plan on getting a aftermarket bumper and winch. For the rear, I was told by the sales lady, that if I bought either the 890 or 891, especial the 891, my 4Runner would have a rake to it. (Meaning the back would sit higher than the front...). I told her I wanted it to be flat at 2.5-3" of lift. So she talked me into getting the 906's...What a huge mistake!!! After the springs have settled, I've ended up with 1 3/4 of lift in the back! Now I look like I have major sag in the rear...not happy! I guess I paid $1000 for an 1 3/4" lift!

Something about the HD springs in front...the one thing they were telling the truth about...without the extra weight, it does give a harsh ride! Good luck!

Which kit specifically were you looking at? Both the 881 and 883 are front springs so did you mean the 891 rear?

Like RussToy said, extra weight springs without extra weight are going to ride stiff.

I was in denver last weekend, drove up to the shop on sunday all excited to see you guys and buy some parts for a friend.. but alas, nobody was there. Ruined the trip!

After some more research, I have decide on going with the toytec OME 3"spring lift with the stock weight springs, I jsut don't want any sagging, that's my main concern, also a true 3" of lift.

i have to give it to toytec, they have been more than helpful with info and also specs. and they have great customer service too, right up there with Warn and PIAA. never a complaint or issue and friendly at that.
