Lifting the runner...

Was looking around and thinking about lifting the 4Runner...
Only thing is I don't have the cash for bigger tires yet, my truck has 255/75/R16 tires on it and was eye-balling Toytec's 3inch lift, spacers up front and OME 880 coils in the rear. Did some research and decided with my automotive skills that I'm going to do it myself, minus the alignment ofcoarse?
Anyways anyone think it will look to funny with 255/75 street tires on it until I get the cash for the bigger tires? Have the SR5 color coated fender well trim and running boards.....

I am doing the same, I got the toytec ultimate 3" with a 1" BL. I am not getting new tires yet. I will take a picture so you can see how re****ed the 265/70-16s look.

It might look funny, but what chice do you have? I mean, if you are like the rest of us, building up our trucks is a slow process - one thing at a time. Get the lift on and start saving for new tires!

That's the key right there. It is a slow process because I don't think any of us have the money to put it in the shop and have EVERYTHING done to it at the same time lol. I'm going to be starting my rear bumper soon with my neighbor and that is going to look funny until I can do the front lol.
