Lifts void Warranty?

Hey Guys,
I 've been searching for threads about warranties being voided for lifting your 4Runner but have been unsuccessful. I have heard rumors of lifting it at all will void your warranty, but on the flip side i've also heard that there are some lift kits that will not void your factory warranty. I asked the salesman about this when I purchased our new 4Runner, but he had no idea. Is this true? Also, Im curious if lifting a new 5th Gen 3 inches, will have any impact on the KDSS, or Crawl Control?

It all depends on how strict your local dealer is. If would be a question for the service department. 9/10 times if your cool with them they will most likely look the other way and still perform service.

If it is in their interest, a dealer will use any reason possible to void a warranty.
Now if the lift is installed by them BEFORE you buy the truck it's a different story, but you should verify in writing if possible that it doesn't.
