Light Racing UCA with Extended Travel ICONs

Just a quick question I couldn't seem to find a solid answer on.

About to go all in on my lift and I would like to go with ICON extended travel coilovers. I am interested in the Light Racing UCAs to save a little money but also since they come with a booted ball joint (Michigan weather).

Does anyone know if the arms will allow enough droop for the extended shocks? Most comments I found via search mentioned the bump stops and coilovers limit the travel in most cases but they didn't specify if they were talking about the extended shocks or standard length.

Yes they should work fine. A lot of companys actually package the SPC in bundles with ICON shocks on newer Toyota's. Icon did come out with a booted newer ball joint design. May be something to look into.

Only because the cam sleeves are frozen in the lca bushings.

The set up you are looking at OP is great. I choose the light racings for the same reason you did.

Great! Thanks for the feedback. I didn't see any of the packages that JayRolla mentioned, or booted icon UCAs, but either way I can still purchase individually

I believe its called the Delta Joint. I think it might only be available on 2003 and up. I have not researched it.

The kits I'm mentioning are custom kits from places like Metal Tech. They will combine SPC with Icon extended front shocks because they work well together. But they dont offer these kits on 3rd gens.

Either way it will work well together.

The stock upper ball joint with my ome setup was maxing out. It was causing new ball joints to loosen up. Once I went SPC I dont have this issue. The extended ICONS can give 1" more droop so its wise to get an UCA that can handle it. They suggest non extended shocks if running stock UCA.
