Lightforce Striker 170 driving lights installed *w/ pics*
So I got a set of Lightforce Striker 170 lights for Christmas from my wifey! *woot* I decided to make/fabricate my own brackets for the time being. I may consider a Defiant light bar bracket in the near future, but this was free, so I couldn't beat the price. The only problem is that they vibrated a bit while driving, so the temporary fix was to zip tie the brackets down to make them more vibration resistant. Overall it turned out pretty good. Light output is excellent as well from the Lightforce fog lights. I still have to aim them a bit better as they point towards each other and it creates an intense hot spot that could be better distributed. I also have a set of yellow combo lenses filters on order that will create more flood as well as maintaining the spot beam.
The wiring still has to be cleaned up a bit, and once I make up another bracket, I can remove the zip ties.
