Lighting of A/C LCD Screen

I find the lighting on my A/C LCD screen to be weak, especially by day while using my polarized sunglasses. Are there any higher wattage bulbs with the same amber lighting?

I believe those are 6v bulbs. Most people swap them out to LEDs that are 12v. They do make amber color LEDs, almost a given to be brighter being LED.

To use 12V LEDs I believe you have to MOD the display to have 12Volts going to the LEDs, there are some write ups on doing this on the forum, do a search and try and find them, DON'T just put 12V leds in there without knowing what you're doing!

Absolutely have to mod going from 6v to 12v
