Lights for hood scoop

Does anyone make the "Raptor" style lights that mount in the opening of the fake hood scoop on the TRD Off Roads ? A friend told me that he saw them on a Tacoma fake hood scoop & I was just curious if a manufacturer produced 1 for the 4R.

This is the one I know of: Pro Series Hood Scoop Light - 4Runner | Armor Light Co . One thing to consider is they are mounted higher up than your headlights, so pretty much no bueno unless offroad.

What not? pickups have them on the roof from factory. So yeah “bueno” on road

Hood scoop lights are are horrible idea...they block air to your ram air system and reduce herspowurs!

I'm not interested in a light bar.

Looking for a 3 amber light set-up that would fit in the fake hood scoop.

Probably, but I was hoping for plug/play type of kit that is made to pop right in.

Just curious, Why does everyone hate the Raptor lights ?

Personaly I think they look good in the grills.

Not "EVERYONE" hates them....but I have an idea imho why some do....
While "raptor" lights are a truly a DOT requirement due to width, they are mostly associated with the Ford Raptor due to the unique location. These are called front clearance lights and have been on many HD trucks for years...they just placed them on the roof above the windshield. Its their "unique" to the raptor placement that makes them immediately identified and associated with a Raptor.
Anywho...Its not my cup of tea to make my 4r look like a ford pickup or be temporarily mistaken for one. I like the 4r, not the raptor. To me, its kinda like putting a Ferrari prancing horse on a Pontiac Fiero.

That being said....if you like them, go for it!
